Works way better than the factory release. Don't hesitate to purchase. Fast shipping. Kind of a pain in the butt to install but worth it.

Definitely most important upgrade for my savage 64 takedown. makes changing mag a lot easier and faster. These improved parts bring much more pleasure to a cheap but interesting little gun.

verry nice, 1000% better than the old mag release. getting the new one and the spring back in is a pain in the butt, but it's worth it

Excellent product. Great service, fast shipping and reasonably priced. While not as easily installed as You Tube would have you believe, this product is well worth the time it takes to install. The magazine now releases with little to no effort. I would highly recommend this product.

Just fitted this to my 64 and makes releasing the mag a lot easier. It was a little tricky to fit the spring back in place but with the help of another to push the spring in place while I tapped the pin back in we got it done.

Works infinitely better than the stock mag release. That spring was a bit of a pain to reinstall but it all worked out.

I bought the extended magazine release for my grandsons savage model 64. it was a struggle for him to remove and replace the magazine. Not now. Easy to install and works great.
