Much better than the rail supplied by S&W. The vent rib just adds to the style, looks great. My only issue was getting the original rear sight fitted into the slot. When I first installed it, it was binding up and would not move up and down with the elevation screw. I had to remove it and make the sight fit into the slot without binding. It took a bit of stoning and filing to make it smooth. Also, when removing the rear sight, be careful not to loose the tiny ball that is pressed into the countersink. It comes out of seat very easily.

Quality part. Once you get the factory sight switched over it's very easy and a great fit. Also looks good.

This is a well made rail and vent rib. The CNC machining on these were really good and had no metal burs or any defects. The price is reasonable for what you get. I like how you can use the factory sight and/or use a red dot without changing rails out. I think the vent rib also helps with barrel glare in really sunny weather and its cool you can choose to use the rib by itself or just use the rail depending on what you want. I asked for a red fiber optic rod on my vent rib and they added it without question or charge, which I feel makes finding the front sight alot easier. Shipping was fast and the install was easy. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality and flexible rail/rib combo.

This is my second order from DIP. This Vent Rib and Rail Kit was so easy to install, I took my time and it took only about 45 minutes, most of the time was finding all my tools. Top notch !!!

This kit looks good on the gun and works very well. Easy to install took about 10 min. I thank S&W should have put it on the gun from the factory.

Very awesome idea for the Smith and Wesson Victory. I highly recommend this rail kit. It fit to mine perfectly, installation was maybe 20 minutes. Just be sure to go slow with the rear sight pin. The rest is easy, fits tight and in my opinion this rail is way better than the Volquartsen or factory rail. The DIP rail is excellent quality! Thanks a bunch, I can't wait to try it out.

This is what S&W should have done in the first place. Makes the Victory look "classier" as well as making the sights (and optics) more user friendly. Excellent machining and great instructions made the install/upgrade easy and fast. Terrific customer service and shipping (Thanks Trish). D.I.P. should be better known. It's a great outfit to deal with that offers an excellent product line.

This is what I've been looking over a year for a addition like this. I didn't like having to change rails on my S&W Victory in order to ad an optic. This Vent Rib Kit solve the problem in a exceptional way. It makes changing sight options almost a "drop in" function, and the barrel rail adds a very competitive look to the pistol. Installation was quick and easy, completed in about thirty minutes, and I took my time and enjoyed the process. I really like the fact that it is aluminum instead of polymer. Thank you everyone a DIPinc. for a fine product.

Beautifully machined! Easily installed! I'm past my prime and usually forgo any kind of gunsmithing since I cannot see as well as I used to and have slight shakes. This was easy. 15 minutes and that includes me looking for the sight adjustment screw I dropped. I'm glad I found this through a post on RimfireCentral.com. Looks like it can be used with or without the vent rib but it looks so cool installed, why not use it.
