This rail looks so good on the stainless steel Ruger American Rimfire. Works best with a full size scope, compact scopes only can be mounted in two positions on the rail. Very well made quality picatinny rail. With a full size scope you can use all the mounting points on the rail, which is a big improvement over the factory Ruger rail. Don't reuse the Ruger screws, use the DI Products ones that come with the rail; these have a tapered head the Ruger ones don't. EGW has a silver rail, but it's a special order costs more money and takes six weeks. I like the idea of the ejection port cutout! It makes it like a Weaver two piece but it's Picatinny.
