Well, it is almost October 2021 and over the last number of months all 4 of my Steyr Zephyr II's now have the DIP steel trigger guards. They really look neat. Shooters at the range ask about the rifles and appreciate the way the DIP trigger guards match the rifle so well. As an aside, I took all 4 Zephyr II's to Griffin & Howe gunsmiths in Andover NJ and had the lop's reduced to 13.5 inches. The rifles hold much better and the DIP steel trigger guards just add to their "custom look". Not cheap, but quality rarely is. As a second aside, the Zephyr regular stocked models are roll marked "Steyr Mannlicher" and the full stocked models are roll marked "Steyr Arms". Well, I am back again. Sold 1 of my 3 regular stock Zephyr II' s and obtained a second full stock Zephyr II. I put the Zephyr II Steel trigger guard on it. So now I have 2 full stock Zephyr II' s with the DIP steel trigger guard and 2 regular stocked models that feel jealous their trigger guards are the originals. Seriously, the DIP steel trigger guards give the rifles a custom look that just shouts "pride in ownership". In a world of cheap 22 cal rifles----- rifles made of quality walnut, steel and with DIP trigger guards are certainly a "cut above".

I wrote one great review already. Not published ??? Well, here is another. I own a Steyr Zephyr II Full Stock--2020 Shot Show offering--very few around. I put the DIP steel trigger guard on the rifle. Fit is fine, and the finish matches the Mannox finish on the rifle. No problem shortening the magazine piece.The rifle now looks similar to the Steyr CL II center fire with full stock. The trigger guard is a definate improvement and adds to pride in ownership. I also have 3 regular stocked Zephyr II's but need a real special $$$ deal to put the DIP trigger guards on those.

I am the owner of a Steyr Zephyr II with the full Mannlicher stock. Few were made and sold at Shot Show 2020. NOW--with my DIProducts steel trigger guard, the rifle has a real "aura" of quaity as the DIP trigger guard makes the rifle look like its big brother, the Steyr CL II If you own a Steyr Zephyr II, investing in this trigger guard adds to the feeling of --"pride in ownership"----and answering lots of questions at the range. Also, the guard finish matches with the Mannox finish of the rifle.

Glad I added this trigger guard to my zepher, fits perfect and the color/finish are an exact match. DIP recommends shortening the magazine spacer by .10", I used a disc sander to do the job, took two minutes.
