Thank you DIP! If you own a Marlin 795 at some point you’re going to split the trigger guard on the rear takedown screw. 795 design flaw vs the old model 60 versus and other 22s like the Savage 64 and Ruger 10/22 that have a flatter trigger guard. The 795 curves in a semi-circle behind the trigger and the rear action screw goes into polymer at the angle of the curve. Eventually everyone will likely break their polymer trigger guard. I never used a death grip on it and mine split. A 795 owner that hasn't split it is pretty lucky. Marlin 795 was half the price of the 10/22. All the money is in the 795 barrel (“micro-groove rifling”). 795 has a superior barrel and it's more accurate than the 10/22. YouTube and see side by side tests in bench press the 10/22 versus the 795. 795 shoots more accurately. With the $95 DIP upgrade you still save $50+ and have a more accurate rifle than the 10/22. Ruger bought Marlin a year ago and no longer services Marlin. Ruger has NO Marlin parts. So for us Marlin owners we are S.O.L. Ruger wants everyone to buy a 10/22 (which is a fine rifle, aftermarket parts etc). If it weren't for DIP we'd all be screwed and have to throw the rifle away or do something dumb and epoxy the polymer together which is not recommended on a firearm. If it wasn’t for DIP the rifle would be useless (or overpay for someone's old polymer trigger guard on eBay and you don't know what you're getting). I made errors installing it (I messed up the travel screws - all my fault) and Bob (DIP’s Gunsmith) is an amazing help. Buy the 795 Complete Trigger Guard and drop it in. Don’t bother getting only the frame and reusing the old trigger to save a couple of bucks. The new trigger is better. Trigger Guard Complete works like a charm and it’s a huge upgrade - it's aircraft aluminum and it's not going to crack or bend like the polymer. This is a great purchase. If it weren’t for DIP Products you’d end up throwing the rifle away. I couldn't be happier. I shot 270 rounds and not 1 issue, no jams, or malfunctions. Just make sure NOT to extend the trigger travel screw too much (just a teeny amount , barely 1 thread or so). Thank you Bob at DIP! DIP made a good rifle great!

Excellent upgrade for the 795. Feels great, easily installed, and excellent customer service. I'll be shopping here in the future for any parts I may need. They even sent a sticker, which I ALWAYS appreciate.

My old trigger guard cracked ( cheap plastic) so i was looking to upgrade when i came across this one i thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and just change the whole thing out. Im glad i did but what im really writing about is the fact it was so great to deal with a company that had the product in stock, and shipped it out to me asap (got it in 3 days)and there was no B.S. everything went smooth, if this is the way they do business i will be a customer for life

This trigger guard, trigger, and safety combo has made a night and day difference in the way my 795 feels. Where it used to feel "toy" like -- the trigger and guard always felt like they might snap any moment -- it now actually feels like a legit firearm. And the extra width in the trigger is a bonus! I HIGHLY recommend that if you are on the fence on whether to pick up just the guard, go for this complete combo. The trigger feels great and it comes fully assembled and ready to install. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I suspect I will see a definite improvement as I won't be babying the trigger or handguard any longer. Two notes: 1) If you don't have any on hand, be sure to order the purple thread locker when placing your order. Then be sure to let it set up for 24 hours after you install the parts. 2) Check your screws to make sure you have the right size tool on hand before sitting down to do your install. I needed a 9/64 allen/hex wrench for my screws. (I'm doing this from memory so I hope my I'm correct.) Despite having 5 sets of allen wrenches, not one of them had the one I needed, so it was off to the hardware store bright and early on a Saturday morning.

I, like many of y'all, am sorely disappointed in the Marlin 795's cheap trigger assembly. Poorly made with shoddy plastic. So I turned to DIP for the ultimate solution. This trigger assembly is superior in every way. Beautifully constructed and finished, this assembly will not just cure your cheap Marlin trigger assembly woes, but instead, will take your rifle up a level. With the duel screw adjustments to take out ALL the trigger slack, and the nice flat triger face, your Marlin 795 will be light years ahead of what it once was. The 795 was a good rifle before, now it's a great rifle. Extremely happy with my investment, but don't take my word for it, get one yourself, you'll see and feel the difference.
