I purchased this for my Marlin 60SS (purchased in 2012). The product arrived in 2 days via USPS. I was impressed! The rail slid right onto the dovetail without issue. I have not yet fired the gun since I just mounted the scope last night. I have no doubts that this will be a solid performer. I gave it 4 stars since I have not yet fired the gun. If I can go through a brick without issue - then I'll come back and re-rate it. Thanks for the quick delivery.

I put this rail on a 1993 model 60, there was no fitting required as it slid on perfectly. I did try it on a newer rifle and it did not fit at all (not my rifle) since I am trying to shoot at longer distances I got an older rifle with a longer barrel, took it to the range today and got it sighted in at 50 yards (that is all my local range allows for .22) it looks like I will have plenty of elevation to see how far I can shoot when I make the road trip to the country. This rail looks like a winner to me.

Good product hard to install install time about 30 min. slides on vary tight hammer required. had to use a wooden dowel and taped in in from the top with the gun pointing up. made of aluminum be vary careful not to bend while tapping onto the 3/8 inch rail. but its not coming off. Vary secure base to mount weaver style rings. it has added about 25moa to the elevation for my 795. make sure you have 25moa of adjustment before installing. with Burris's signature zee 1 inch medium profile rings with BSA sweet 22 3-9X40 scope, i have less than an 1/8 of an inch of clearance between the scope and the barrel. excellent fit. had to remove the stock rear iron sight. taped it out sideways with a hammer and dowel.
