Very well made and alot thicker metal than the stock one. Installed easily in my Boyd's stock. Definitely a must buy replacement part for the Savage rifle.

7-2-22 Purchased for Savage 93 r17 Minimalist. Nice thick 1/8 floor plate. Good fit and finish. Fits flush with Boyd stock. Factory plate is a joke! Looks as if its cut from a piece of roofing tin. I did not need the extra screws but good to have. Recommend the product. Delivery was fast too!

Excellent customer service, very fast shipping and great fit. This plate will allow the proper torque requirements needed for accuracy. The factory plate is a thin piece of tin and will flex if torqued over 20" pounds.

My shop Rock Creek Arms purchased the full set-up for a Savage 93R17 that was reciving a Boyd plain jane stock the products fit flalessly and the trigger over travel feature is a very nice feature as well all the fasteners fit correctly and were just the right size you will never know the frustration that ill fitting screws and so forth cause but all in all I give the products a 4.5 could even go a 5 but there has to be room for more best wishes bob @ Rock Creek Arms

Great customer service. I initially ordered the wrong part. Making the exchange for the correct part was quick and painless. The plate itself is thicker than the stock plate. Fit perfectly into the cutout of the new Boyds stock.

Excellent product and fit is very good. I chose not to remove any of the stock material resulting in the much thicker bottom metal extending slightly above the stock surface level. I recommend using Blue lock-tight on the longer screw(s). DIP product delivery was also much better than expected. Outstanding in all regards.

This is a great addition to my .17hmr. This metal is several times thicker than the factory metal. Fits the inlet perfectly. Lets you get some torque on your action screws. Great purchase.

This puts the factory junk to shame. This complimented my Boyd's Stock perfectly. The fit between the metal and the inlet in the stock is about as close as it can get. Perfect fit! Solid product!

What a difference over the stock super thin piece of sheet metal, this one is a must have. I got mine before they included the torx screw so mine has one philips and one torx on but it is still amazing.
