This adapter is slightly larger in diameter than the muzzle of the tapered barrel on my 455 so there is a small ridge. With the Compensator in place, though, it isn't objectionable and looks like part of the design. Machining is excellent and installation is a breeze with a 5/16" or 8mm hex wrench.
