This Dip 64 Picatinny Rail fits securely & smoothly onto the 64 dovetail and when finally mounted with screws provided, the rail is centered & does not move at all even with a scope mounted. I have previously tried several dovetail-to-picatinny options out there, and this rail option beats them all. Not only is it innovative, it’s well-designed, has a nice soild black finish which looks great, mounts evenly & is very cost-effective. The only other viable option out there is to buy a third-party picatinny rail and have it tapped & drilled into the 64 receiver which will cost far more than this rail. I highly-recommend the Dip 64 Picatinny Rail & Dip Products Inc. for their superb Savage 64 upgrades & excellent service.!!
