This is probably the best single upgrade you can make to your SuperLite. This aluminum replacement bottom-plate weighs a paltry 1 oz. more than the cheap, crack-prone factory plastic; it’s so light that it’s hard to tell which one you’ve picked up until you see the DIP logo. This is going to add a lot of durability and rigidity to your SuperLite rifle in cold and/or remote use-cases and features a large winter-glove compatible trigger guard. Awesome. Installation is a no brainer and only takes about two minutes; reuse the steel flat spring, catch spring, steel pin, and magazine catch from your factory bottom. The extra oz. is completely negligible. This is a legitimate toy–to–tool upgrade. Five stars.

Just got my aluminum not (plastic) trigger guard which already cracked when tightening the action screws. Took about 10 minutes to push pin out an install on new one. Fits like a glove an is a big improvement. I would recommend this to anyone who has a Howa Superlite a should come from the manufacturer like this. Thumbs up ??for a quality product. Thanks again
