Works great. Removing/installing the mag catch was tricky. The tip of using a round toothpick sized to fit the width of release lever to secure the spring on lever worked for me. Used a roll pin punch to push out toothpick, retain lever and then pushed in retaining pin while backing out punch. The online installation instructions could be improved noting orientation of the release tension spring on the DIP vs the factory part. Once done, huge improvement over Howa's plastic. This was done on a 6ARC in Bell & Carlson Target/Comp stock. No mods to stock needed.

Perfect fit, like all of their stuff... Really makes this a nice rifle. This new version puts some extra tension on the mag realese spring and makes it a little more secure. Pretty easy install. Hopefully they'll come out with the new style mag release in aluminum.

The product is well made and the finish is excellent with no sharp edges. I fit the action screw holes perfectly. I installed the barreled action and the new trigger guard in a Boyds Stock. with the oversize inletting by Boyds requiring bedding of the stock and the trigger guard. I would recommend the trigger guard to anyone wanting an upgrade that is worth the cost and effort to install.

bottom metal looks good and fits perfectly. Magazine catch has more tension than the factory bottom (which is a good thing). Very nice upgrade.
