The scope mount arrived quickly and looks great. It easily mounted on a Marlin 880SS with iron sights. The included screws went on with a bit of purple Loctite. DIP's machining was very clean and the ejection cutout matches my receiver exactly. I wanted to note that my Marlin 880SS has iron sights unlike the one in the image on this page. When installed, this rail stops about 1/4 inch before the existing rear sight, which is great. One could easily remove the rear sight if needed, but I'm happy to leave it in place as the new rail doesn't interfere with it at all. I took pictures but it looks like I can't post them as part of a review. This was well worth the price to help revive my old 22LR.

Posting this simply because the service was 100% amazing! Called customer service and they sent me to Bob since I have a Marlin 880 SS and need a rail adapter (seen above) that fits such a specific rifle. I searched the website for a while and couldn't find one that seemed to work but Bob told me it would be part 15014 that is seen above in this page that I am reviewing. For those who need to know, Marlin did make smaller Dovetails at one point so you need to check your measurements. This rail will fit if your dovetail is 0.43 or wider. If it is 0.41 inches, sadly it will not fit. I will be going home to measure today and will be ordering this part if mine is 0.43 or wider and mine will need set screws which lift the rail up and create pressure making the rail stay in place since I do not have pre-drilled mounting screws. Thanks Bob!!! Top notch service right there folks!

I gotta admit this baby rocks, and installation was a snap. I *really* appreciate the instructions telling me to dial my torque wrench to 10 in-lbs with Blue Loctite.

The scope mount fit my Marlin XT-22 perfectly. Seems to be of excellent quality and looks good against the stainless steel. Shipping was very fast.

bought one of these for my 917 marlin cause I didn't like the factory mounts.Quality product, fits perfect, gonna get a few things for my daughters model 60 next. super fast shipping too. very happy!!!
