Fantastic upgrade for my Savage 93R17. It really improved the overall feel and accuracy of the rifle from the flimsy original plastic stock. It did required some very minor fitting (sanding of the barrel/action channel and safety area) to get my barreled action to fit where I wanted it. The bottom metal kit and provided screws worked perfectly on the original fitting and once I sanded a bit off I ended up using my old screws with the bottom metal kit. I had to remove some material around the safety area to get my safety to push all the way forward to remove my bolt. Overall it's a simple, effective upgrade to your rifle.
