I was replacing my 455's broken plastic mag well so I figured I may as well replace the mag catch for this one. It dropped right in and while the extra 2mm doesn't sound like much, it's *just* enough to make mag changes easier.

Well make and shipped fast. Extends flush with a 5 round mag, perfect length. When you build a serious rifle you buy all the setups parts!

This a must have part. Removing that Mag is so much faster and easy to get at. Change my two 457's out with all Metal parts. Thanks, DIP

I ordered this because I was replacing the magwell and figured why not go with all metal parts? It's nicely made and finished, fits perfectly, and although it seems like it wouldn't make a difference, the extra bit helps. Locks up nicely on the mags too.

I give this item 5 stars because it works so much better than the original part. I bought one recently for my CZ 452 & I liked it so much it was the 1st thing I got for the 457 I just bought

Ordered Sept. 7, received Sept. 12. Installed same day. I was a bit dubious as to the "extended" description, as it is not a huge difference in length. But, it is the correct amount and the catch is perfect. Any longer and it would be below the magazine. No more digging around the mag to get it to release. Simple things are best. Thanks for a great part, guys!!

Wow. This small part was a major upgrade to my CZ 457 American. I only installed it because the original was made from polymer, but the extra 1/8" made a world of difference when ejecting the magazines. This is a must have.
