This cheek riser is a real nice fit on the sks. I like the flush fit screws as opposed to the kydex risers with big knobs for tension. That being said, I did need TWO 7/32" allen wrenches to get my desired torque on the riser. I just think it looks a lot better with the flush fit screws and I had two allen wrenches in my tool box so no problem.

I got this for our little Savage Rascal after adding a scope. The stock just doesn't really work well with a scope especially for a young child with a small face/head trying to get a solid check weld. This helped a lot. The hollow plastic stock really compresses when you tighten the clamping screws so I added a stack of washers to give something to clamp against. Maybe someday I'll replace the washers with something more elegant. I just ordered another for our Marlin 795 that is getting scoped.

Excellent! Will definitely be buying again for other rifles, and would recommend to others. Very sleek, unobtrusive fit, and does what it's supposed to do. Took me a long time to install, but that was because the paper template DIP included did not match the actual product perfectly, which meant I had to improvise my own way to correctly install it. That's why I give it 4 stars and not 5. I ended up placing the piece where I wanted it, clamped it onto the stock, traced the cutout holes with a sharpie, then removed the piece and clamp and drilled holes. Turned out great. My only recommendations: 1) DIP needs to make sure the templates match the actual product perfectly. 2) Would be easier to install with two sets of hands.
