Thanks for the awesome product. I'm glad that someone else noticed how flimsy the Boyd bottom plate is, and did something about it. I received mine yesterday and mounted it last night. Works perfectly, and I don't have to worryy about the plate caving to minimal pressure. If you buy a Boyd stock for your Savage MarkII, Do not buy Boyd's bottom plate! The trigger guard is ok, but not the bottom plate. Make sure you bbuy this plate for your stock. You will be glad you did.

Nice item. Much thickener than factory bottom plate. I was able to torque action screw to 15 in/lbs no bending. looks good as a bonus.
