I ordered this bolt knob for replacing my Anschutz 1712 AV SS bolt knob. Very satisfied for it and my rifle looks nice too.

SWEET!! Fits my 1710 like it was made for it, because it was. Anschutz should be using these stock, instead of the cheap plastic knob. I love it, you will too! How to remove the old knob. Heat it with a hair dryer, wear a good pair of leather gloves. When you think the old knob is hot enough, keep heating. Grip the bolt body in one hand, the knob in the other and try to unscrew. If it doesn't want to turn, more heat. It will work. You can save the plastic Anschutz knob, and not have to resort to pliers or a vice. That's what DIP told me, and it works. Do not use a HEAT GUN the knob will melt.

this bolt handle was mounted on a 1517 MPR. The original plastic bolt knob was difficult to get off, but once this Executive Knob was mounted, it looked great, and feels great in the hand. Arrived quickly and overall very pleased with purchase...

Being a bit picky have not been pleased with the plastic ball on my 64MPR and 1710. The Executive was better than expected, well made, just the right size, and very elegant on both rifles. Very pleased with the product, nothing to fault.
