If you have a Mark II ditch the plastic garbage and get a new stock. The added weight makes it far easier to be accurate. This particular stock is awesome. I use my Savage exclusively for silhouette matches and this stock is perfect for offhand shooting. The cheek weld is great and the balance is excellent with my 6" shortened barrel. After hearing countless bad experiences with Boyd's customer service I was more than happy to deal with DIP. I ordered my stock on the wknd and by Wed afternoon it was at my house. Totally impressed.
