I was hesitant to pick up this bolt knob at first. I thought the factory knob on the 457 was pretty good and to be honest, I'm a little bit of a tight wad with money. I went ahead and bought this knob....easy install...and oh my goodness...it transforms my rifle's cycling. What I would have considered a 7 out of 10 cycling-wise, is not a 10 out of 10 with this bolt. It's not too big, nor too small and adds just a tad more leverage when cycling your bolt. I like this better than the knurled version as I originally had the knurled but mis-ordered and got the version of another rifle. If you are on the fence, you won't regret buying this bolt knob. The folks a DIP are top notch when it comes to their products and their people.
