This mount is great! I almost bought the blued on and then I looked a little closer and realized that it was also available in silver, which is great since it is for my stainless Marlin XT-22TSR. Its a shame that this mount is not more widely available on the well known gun part sights. It is by far way superior to the two #12 mounts that most other owners of Marlin XT rifles probably end up buying. It was only by doing a deeper than average Google search that I stumbled upon this mount, and I am really glad that I did.
