I bought one of these adjustable sears for my super accurate CZ-455 in 17 HMR, this rifle has a Lilja Varmint barrel on it. I occasionally shoot a 200 meter pig match with this rifle so a very nice trigger is important. I installed the adjustable sear in about an hour, I read posts on Rimfire Central from other people that installed this product in their 455's and also was able to look at pictures of the installation process. Very simple when you see the photographs. Now I have a superb trigger, thank you DIP for making such a quality product for us.

Exactly what I needed to eliminate the creep on my 455. Part machining and finish are first rate. Installation was a exercise in futility until I figured out that by using a small finishing nail ( brad ) locked in a pair of visegrips to compress the ball bearing was a good bit easier on the fingers. (well duh). The concave (head) of the brad allows one to push the bearing into the sear far enough to use a straight pin to hold everything together for installing the sear into place. Thankfully D.I.P. includes a ball bearing to replace the original one that may get launched into low earth orbit to be recovered by your vacuum cleaner at a later date. Shipping and customer service from D.I.P. are excellent, and they deserve mention. Thanks Trish. Other companies could learn from these folks.

Improves an already good trigger to exellent. Installed the adjustable sear on top of a lighter trigger spring from DIPs trigger spring kit. Removed any creep for a crisp 1 pound trigger weight. Highly recommend either or both to upgrade your CZ 455. Follow instructions for installation.

Put the action inside a a large plastic bag - when the ball pops out you won't lose it. The result was the best trigger of any of my rifles. Love it.

This sear, in combination with the spring kit (item CZ-19040), is a fantastic product. The factory trigger wasn't "bad" per se, but with the addition of the DIP sear and spring I was able to adjust the trigger so that there is zero take up and a crisp break at just under 2 pounds. I used one of the heavier springs in the kit, as the two lightest springs were too light for my taste (though they still passed the bump test). This is a great value, and I already have one on order for my 452. My only recommendation is to change the installation instructions. I found it to be very frustrating (i.e., impossible) to compress the ball bearing with a screwdriver as recommended in the instructions. However, it was really very easy to install by simply removing the magazine well. Once I did that, I could hold the ball bearing in place with my finger and insert the cross pin. Took less than 5 minutes once I figured that out...after more than an hour of chasing that little ball all over my workspace. Excellent product, excellent value, and my 455 now has a truly excellent trigger. Thanks!

Very well made and reasonably easy to install. The detent ball will give you some trouble getting it reseated properly but it will go; just follow the instructions and be patient. This is a more economical option than a Timney trigger and superior to the spring and shim kit available. Once installed, creep is easily adjusted to near zero for a clean, crisp trigger/sear break. I didn't bother replacing the stock trigger spring as it didn't seem at all necessary with this kit. In fact I prefer to not have a hair trigger but one with a bit of resistance but short travel and clean break. This sear kit will do it. If you love your CZ then this is the kt to have.

First off, great service & nicely engineered and finished part - I ordered on a Friday @ 1630 hours and received it the following day @ 1230 hours. Installation was reasonably easy with the rifle action in a clear plastic bag & 3 hands (my Son assisted.). No detent balls were lost during the evolution. After playing with the adjustment screw to ensure no bump-fire & installing trigger spring #2 (I also purchased the 4 spring kit), I was left with a very crisp trigger that releases at just under 2# with a tiny bit of creep (which is my preference). My hearty thank you to the folks at DIP inc!

Great product once installed. Getting it done on my 455 American (synthetic stock) was interesting & challenging. Thanks to capable gunsmith' mods to improve the rifle's design, sear/spring setup is secure and greatly improves feel of trigger for my use in target shooting. Have ordered the metal mag well offered here as well as scope base. Will review once installed & used. Great help form tech and fast delivery combined with well-priced items combined with great product- it doesn't, get better than that!

Excellent, crisp trigger break, with about 1mm of take-up, which I could probably adjust out. I have mine set up to break at 3 lbs. Well worth the asking price!
