Very happy with initial inspection from bag and mock up fit, home run! Tapped hole/pad area in lower aft loop, trigger stop set screw? 6-32 full of Anodize? No notation of in add, picture or conversation with very kind and congenial tech on phone prior to purchase. Added bonus if so! Will need to source the two screws for securing coming from my plastic to newly acquired laminate. Glad they make them, happy I bought one, great deal!

Beautifully made and finished. Fit my synthetic Marlin stock perfectly. Was part of an order submitted late Sunday, shipped Monday (excellent DIP service) and arrived Wednesday (surprisingly fast USPS service).

Received the trigger guard yesterday. Fit and finish is excellent. Purchased a black oval wood screw 1/2" and a 10/32 - 1.5" oval standard thread from my local hardware store = .75 to complete my Boyd stock conversion. I am very pleased with how my XT22 came out. I would recommend this product if you are looking to swap your Marlin to an aftermarket stock.

This is an extremely well made part. My Marlin 917v came with a plastic stock. I upgraded to a Boyd's thumbhole stock and then needed a trigger guard since the original was molded into the factory stock. The fit is exact & looks great. One of the screws is actually a bolts that secures the receiver action into the stock. The other seems like a common wood screw (easy enough). The only problem is that the factory receiver bolt is to short to meet the threads in the receiver because the trigger guard is to thick. So, I'm closer to getting this rifle completed. Now I have the task of finding the correct size bolt & screw. DIP carries a few misc. screws & bolts on their site but nothing specifically for this application that I could find.
