As with most people (I assume) that purchase this, I was cleaning my Marlin 995 and broke the plastic trigger guard upon reassembly. At that time, I purchased the complete set with trigger because I can't help myself when it comes to improving my guns. Fit and finish are superb and the trigger is crisp and predictable. The overtravel screw makes follow-up shots a smidge faster and though that's not terribly important, it does add to an overall quality feel. Only downside for the 995 is the milled slot for the last-shot hold open lever on 795s that the 995 doesn't have. A simple piece of tape on the inside keeps dust out. Fast forward a few years, I was going to sell the 995 back to the guy I got it from after acquiring a new 795. My son was helping me switch the DI Products trigger guard and trigger from the 995 to the 795 and SNAP! He did the exact same thing on the 795. I knew exactly where to go. Thanks for producting such a great product at an affordable price!
